ViewSonic has unveiled its latest addition to the monitor market: the VX2776-2K-OLED. Retailing at 6994 yuan (US$ 961), this 27-inch display boasts advanced features catered to both professional and gaming needs, now accessible through e-commerce platforms in China. Notably, the VX2776 is available internationally in 1080p and 4K variants but only in IPS right now. Also, at US$ 961, its way more expensive than the IPS models that retails under US$ 350 in the US.
The VX2776-2K-OLED features a 2K OLED
screen with a resolution of 2560×1440. It stands out with its high refresh rate
of 240Hz and ultra-fast 0.03ms GTG response time, ensuring smooth visuals in
fast-paced situations. The monitor offers excellent clarity and color accuracy
for creators and movie enthusiasts, boasting a peak brightness of 1000nits, HDR
support, and a contrast ratio of 1.5 million:1. It impressively covers 98.5% of
the DCI-P3 color gamut with 10-bit color depth.
The monitor offers a gaming-friendly
experience with AMD FreeSync and NVIDIA G-Sync technologies to prevent screen
tearing. It prioritizes user comfort through anti-glare and low reflection
properties, and it features ambient lighting on the rear for an enhanced gaming
atmosphere. The monitor also includes a user-friendly five-directional joystick
button for easy navigation. The monitor provides an immersive experience with
built-in 2x3W speakers. It features a metal stand that offers extensive
adjustability, including tilt, height adjustment, swivel, and rotation options.
Connectivity is extensive. Alongside HDMI
and DP ports, it features USB-C, USB-B, and USB-A ports. An added perk is the
USB-C port’s ability to support 96W reverse fast charging, catering to the
fast-paced needs of modern users.
