It is based on Huawei’s NLP algorithm, combined with multi-source map fusion positioning. The AI architecture enables the Children’s Watch 5 Vitality Edition to be more accurate in frequently used locations. It supports indoor positioning, delimiting safe areas, historical trajectory query, setting school time, and more.

Edition can be used for smooth video calls from the watch to other devices. You
can shake the watch to add friends and also use the WeChat children’s watch
version or QQ children’s feature. It supports Alipay and WeChat payment QR
codes, while parents can set the limit. The Huawei Children’s Watch 5 Vitality
Edition is rated IPX8 life-grade waterproof protection. The watch has an AI
visual evaluation algorithm that can be used to evaluate a child’s back,
shoulder, and armpit inclination angles. It helps to give an overall evaluation
result and interpretation suggestions.
The Huawei Children’s Watch 5 Vitality Edition
is priced in China at 608 yuan (US$ 85). It is available in a few colorways
including red and blue. The smartwatch can be purchased from retail platforms
like JD.com. Huawei has not indicated whether the Children’s Watch 5 Vitality
Edition will be available in other markets.
