HONOR 90

HONOR, the smartphone brand that separated from HUAWEI in 2021, is set to make a grand comeback in the Indian market. The company recently filed a new trademark called “Honor for Knights” in India. According to a recent report from IANS, the HONOR 90 smartphone will mark the brand’s return and is slated to launch in the premium segment in mid-September. The device is expected to be priced around Rs 45,000.

The HONOR 90 boasts impressive features, including a 6.7-inch OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and a quad curve design. It will sport a powerful 200MP triple rear camera setup with AI capabilities, along with a 50MP selfie camera. The phone will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 Accelerated Edition and will run on the latest Android 13-based HONOR MagicOS 7.1.

HONOR is reportedly targeting the high-end smartphone market in India, aiming to create a substantial impact before the festive season commences. Despite facing tough competition, the brand remains confident in its ability to attract consumers due to its history of delivering innovative products and a strong commitment to standing out from its rivals.

The HONOR 90 will be in direct competition with rivals like OnePlus and Nothing, which offers a Snapdragon 8 series chipset at a similar price. It remains to be seen how HONOR positions the smartphone to drive sales and establish a unique presence in the Indian market.
