Alienware, Dell’s gaming focused sub brand, continues to expand its product range. The company recently unveiled the Aurora R16 Desktop PC with an updated design. Now, Alienware has also introduced a new gaming screen that works really well with AMD graphics cards. This new monitor, called the AW2524HF, is aimed at gamers who want really smooth play. It comes with special features like AMD FreeSync Premium and a very fast 500Hz display.
The Alienware AW2524HF is a 24.5-inch IPS
gaming monitor with a 500Hz refresh rate. The monitor also has a low latency
response time of 1ms response time, which further minimizes input lag. This
ensures that there is no ghosting or blurring, even in fast-paced games. In
addition to its high refresh rate and fast response time, the AW2524HF also
features AMD FreeSync Premium and VESA AdaptiveSync certification.
AMD FreeSync Premium is a variable refresh
rate technology that helps to eliminate screen tearing and stuttering in games.
It does this by dynamically adjusting the refresh rate of the monitor to match
the frame rate of the graphics card. This ensures that the image on the screen
is always smooth and fluid, even when the frame rate is fluctuating.
