Realme Pad 2 is arriving on July 19, according to a landing page on Flipkart. It will have an 11.5” display with thin bezels and a high refresh rate and will arrive for sale a week after the unveiling. The images are now taken down, and the page does not exist, but we were able to get them before it was too late. The Pad 2 will have a circular camera island and four speakers in a 2x2 configuration on the left and right sides (when held horizontally).
The screen is advertised as 2K, which is a
1200p resolution. The panel will be 10-bit, meaning it will come with 1 billion
colors, and some other fancy features will include an adaptive brightness with
fine-tune dimming and O1 Ultra Vision Engine. The posters also advertise 450
nits peak brightness which isn’t a big deal - the first Realme Pad reached the
same result during our tests, and the Realme Pad X even exceeded it.
This big tablet will have a USB-C port,
but we do not see a 3.5 mm audio jack, meaning users will either have to resort
to wireless audio accessories or blast music and game sounds in the open like a
toddler usually does. Reports are the Realme Pad 2 will be powered by a Helio
G99 chipset, which is LTE-only by nature. It is expected to launch first in
India, and then eventually, it will reach other international markets.
