iQOO recently launched the iQOO 11S with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset onboard. Reports have claimed that it will soon face competition from Snapdragon 8 Gen 2-powered flagships, such as the Realme GT Neo 6 series and the OnePlus Ace 2 Pro. In a recent Weibo post, popular tipster Digital Chat Station shared some intriguing details about the Ace 2 Pro and GT Neo 6 series.
According to the tipster, both the Realme
GT Neo 6 series and the OnePlus Ace 2 Pro are expected to make their debut in
August, exclusively in the Chinese market. At present, there is no word on
whether these devices will make it to markets outside of China. It appears that
both smartphones will have similar specifications.
The tipster revealed that the OnePlus Ace
2 Pro and the Realme GT Neo 6 series will sport an impressive OLED panel with a
1.5K resolution, be powered by the powerful Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset clocked
at 3.2GHz, offer a generous 24 GB of LPDDR5x RAM, and provide ample 1TB of UFS
4.0 storage capacity. Both smartphones will boast an OIS-enabled 50-megapixel
Sony IMX890 primary camera, ensuring stunning photography capabilities.
Additionally, they will support 150W charging, offering fast and convenient
charging solutions.
As per previous reports, the Ace 2 Pro
will flaunt a curved-edge display, and the GT Neo 6 series is rumored to come
with a flat screen. The tipster highlighted that the Ace 2 Pro will have an
added advantage with its efficient heat dissipation technology, while the GT
Neo 6 series will stand out for its remarkable 240W fast charging support. For
those who don’t know, the GT Neo 6 will come in two variants, offering 150W and
240W fast charging, respectively.
In related news, Redmi is also expected to
launch the Redmi K60 Ultra flagship phone in August in China. While its
competitors will feature the Snapdragon chip, the K60 Ultra will arrive with
the Dimensity 9200 Plus onboard.
