Infinix unveiled the Helio G88-powered Hot 30 4G in March, and we now learn the brand will follow up with a 5G version next month in India with support for 14 5G bands. The tentative launch date is July 14, but we'll have to wait for an official announcement from Infinix on that. The Infinix Hot 30 5G will come in three colors - Miami Orange, Aurora Blue, and Knight Black. The Miami Orange version reminds us of the Note 30 5G's Sunset Orange model featuring vegan leather back.
The Hot 30 5G's rear panel sports a
rectangular camera island housing an LED flash and two cameras, with the
primary camera using a 50MP sensor. Up front is a display with a centered punch
hole for the selfie camera, but we don't have any information about either.
The Infinix Hot 30 5G has flat frames. The
left-side frame has the SIM card slot, and on the right is the volume rocker
and power button, which could double as a fingerprint scanner. At the bottom is
the USB-C port, flanked by a 3.5mm headphone jack, microphone, and speaker
grille.
We are told the Infinix Hot 30 5G will
have an IP53 rating and pack a 6,000 mAh battery, which is 1,000 mAh bigger
than its 4G counterpart's cell. Whether or not it will charge faster than the
Hot 30 4G that goes up to 33W remains to be seen.
