The Huawei P60 series has been well-received in the market since its launch, especially the popular Rococo White variant. Recently, an image of the Huawei P60 Pro Matte Leather Edition, an engineering model, surfaced online, showcasing a stylish and sophisticated color scheme. The leaked images reveal that the key changes in this matte leather version are concentrated on the back of the device. The back panel is crafted from two different shades of matte leather, black and grey, with intersecting stitching design, adding an elegant touch.
Additionally, the camera module appears to
be made of silver-grey metal material, which complements the overall aesthetic.
While rumors suggest that this version might be released for sale, it has not
been officially teased yet. Speculation among netizens indicates that the matte
leather material may pose challenges in terms of heat dissipation, possibly
making this color variant exclusive to engineering models.
The Huawei P60 Pro, as a flagship phone
emphasizing photography capabilities, features an impressive camera setup. It
boasts a 48-megapixel ultra-high-resolution main camera, a 13-megapixel
ultra-wide-angle camera, and a 48-megapixel ultra-high-resolution night vision
telephoto camera. Notably, its long-range camera with ultra-high-resolution
night vision supports 100x digital zoom and employs an industry-leading
multi-lens long-range module, enabling exceptional light intake and clear
captures in dark or low-light environments.
During the recent 618 shopping festival,
the Huawei P60 Pro experienced strong sales with attractive price reductions,
particularly the 12GB+256GB version, which emerged as the top-selling variant
in the P60 series. According to JD.com’s recent smartphone sales rankings, the
Huawei P60 Pro secured the fifth position among models priced above 6,000 yuan
(US$ 827), becoming the second best-selling Chinese flagship model, following the
Huawei Mate50 Pro.
