It appears that Vivo is gearing up to launch a new mid range grade smartphone in the market soon. A new certification listing has revealed that the company is working on a new Y27 5G model. So here are all the details. Just last month, we had reported on the Vivo Y27 being spotted on various online listings. This includes a sighting on the Google Play Console, which revealed some of its key specifications, as well as on the NCC website. The latter revealed live images of the device ahead of its official launch. Now, the Chinese smartphone maker’s upcoming Y27 5G was even spotted on the EEC certification. This listing reveals that it carries the V2302 model number.
Based on the previous reports, we know
that the Vivo Y27 5G might be equipped with a MediaTek Dimensity 700 SoC. For
those unaware, the Dimensity 700 could be rebranded as the Dimensity 6020 SoC.
Furthermore, the device will also run on Android 13 OS based FunTouchOS 13 out
of the box. The Google Play Console listing revealed that the chipset will be
paired with 6GB of RAM and sport a display that has a Full HD+ resolution and a
440 ppi screen density.
There have also been rumors of the Vivo
Y27 model being a rebranded Y36 5G. If this is true, we can expect the Y27 will
sport a 6.44 inch LCD panel that has a 90Hz refresh rate. Other notable
features include, a 50 megapixel primary camera and a 2 megapixel depth sensor
with an LED flash. Meanwhile, the front may house a 16 megapixel selfie
shooter.
