VAIO has unveiled the SX12 and SX14 lightweight notebooks in Japan. The VAIO SX12 comes with a 12.5-inch screen while the SX14 has a 14-inch display. Both new VAIO notebooks are equipped with the 13th generation Core U and Core P series processors. The models also have optional i3-1315U to i7-1360P processors.
The VAIO SX12 and SX14 memory options
range between 8GB and 32GB, with up to 1TB storage configuration. The screen of
the new VAIO notebooks is available in 1080p to 4K screen resolutions. The
interfaces available in the notebooks include USB 3.0, Thunderbolt 4, HDMI,
Gigabit Ethernet, and a nano SIM compartment. The smaller model weighs 929g
while the SX14 weighs 1.08kg.
The VAIO SX series notebooks in Japan are
priced from ¥ 199,800. VAIO has not provided any global availability
information yet for the new SX12 and SX14 notebooks. The accompanying images of
the laptop indicate they are available in at least a red colorway.
The full specs of the two new VAIO
notebooks are lacking at this time. Important performance parameters like the
display refresh rate, maximum brightness, processor architecture, and software
for the notebooks are also lacking.
