Ultrahuman, Bengaluru-based startup, has once again revolutionized the wearable technology industry with its latest innovation—the Ultrahuman Ring Air, which the company says is the world’s lightest sleep-tracking wearble. This comes after the launch of the Ultrahuman Ring last year. The Ultrahuman Ring Air boasts a durable outer shell made from fighter jet-grade Titanium, reinforced with Tungsten Carbide Carbon coating for exceptional resistance against wear and tear.
On the inside, the ring is coated with
hypoallergenic epoxy resin, ensuring comfortable extended wear. Weighing just
2.4 grams, it is an impressive 11 times lighter than a typical smartwatch. The
Ultrahuman Ring Air is packed with features that elevate its capabilities
beyond a typical wearable. Its Sleep Index provides a comprehensive assessment
of sleep health, analyzing factors like sleep duration, resting heart rate, and
restfulness. This intelligent feature offers detailed insights into sleep
quality.
It also has a non-contact skin temperature
sensor to monitor physiological states and responses to exercise, stress, and
illness. It leverages the Phase Response Curve (PRC) to help users understand
their body’s circadian rhythm in relation to external stimuli. Promoting an
active lifestyle, the Movement Index optimizes glucose metabolism and increases
non-exercise energy usage. Users can maximize recovery with key Heart Rate
Variability (HRV) insights, which gauge the body’s readiness for each day.
It can be used alone or with the existing
conventional glucose monitoring platform, Ultrahuman M1, to give users even
more detailed information about their metabolism and more specific steps they
can take to improve their health. The device features advanced sensors, including
Infrared Photoplethysmography (PPG), a non-contact skin temperature sensor,
6-axis motion sensors, and heart rate monitoring LEDs.
It can last up to 6 days on a single
charge, and has Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE5) connectivity for seamless
integration with smartphones via the Ultrahuman App. The Ultrahuman Ring Air is
available in matte black and costs Rs. 24,999 as early bird price, which is
limited to the first 1000 orders. It is already for sale on the company’s
website. The company offers Rs. 5400 trade in credit for the Ultrahuman R1 and
also accepts Oura Gen 2 and Oura Gen 3 rings for trade in.
