Two new color variants of the TAG Heuer Connected Calibre E4 smartwatch have been unveiled. The TAG Heuer Connected Calibre E4 Golden Bright and Bright Black Edition both feature an AMOLED display. They also support Bluetooth connectivity and come with a sprinkling of health and fitness sensors.
The Golden Bright Edition of the Connected
Calibre E4 smartwatch has a rose gold PVD case and crown. On the other hand,
the Bright Black variant of the smartwatch sports a titanium case with gold
details. The Golden Bright edition has a 42mm dial while the Bright Black
version has a 45mm dial. The Connected Calibre E4 Golden Bright Edition is the
first in the lineup to have a full golden PVD watch case. It also sports a
protective sapphire crystal and a leather strap.
The TAG Heuer Connected Calibre Golden
Bright Edition has a 1.28-inch AMOLED display and a 416 x 416 pixels
resolution. It comes with a compass, heart rate monitor, barometer, and microphone,
among other features. The smartwatch is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon Wear
4100+ chipset.
The Connected Calibre Bright Black Edition
has a sandblasted titanium case and golden lacquer coating on the ceramic
bezel. It has a combined leather and rubber strap and a 454 x 454 pixels
resolution. It has additional Gyroscope and Accelerometer sensors compared to
the Golden Bright Edition but omits GNSS. While the Golden Bright Edition
supports Bluetooth 5.0 connectivity, the Bright Black variant is compatible
with Bluetooth 4.1.
The two smartwatches boast up to 24 hours
of battery life and can be fully recharged in 1.5 hours. The TAG Heuer
Connected Calibre Golden Bright Edition is already on sale for US$ 2,300. The
Bright Black Edition of the smartwatch will go on sale this June for US$ 1,300.
