Redmi has launched a new pair of truly wireless earphones in China. These new earbuds are officially called Redmi Buds 4 Vitality Edition. This product is the fourth model in the Redmi Buds 4 lineup after Redmi Buds 4, Redmi Buds 4 Pro, and Redmi Buds 4 Youth Edition. A closer look a the design and features reveal that these new wireless buds are nothing but the Redmi Buds 4 Active, which went official for global markets recently.
The Redmi Buds 4 Vitality Edition features
an AirPods Pro-like design. In other words, the buds sport a stem and in-ear
silicone tips. Each bud weighs about 3.6g and houses a 12mm driver. The
IPX4-rated earbuds are splash resistant and offer touch gesture controls. They
connect with devices via Bluetooth 5.3 and pair instantly with MIUI devices.
The global variant even arrives with Google Fast Pair support.
The earbuds only support the SBC codec.
However, users can customize and fiddle with other features on the Xiaomi
Earbuds app. The buds come with useful features like ENC (Electronic Noise
Cancellation) for calls and a low latency mode for gaming. Last but not least,
they are rated to last for 5 hours on a full charge and up to 28 hours with the
charging case.
The Redmi Buds 4 Vitality Edition is
priced at only ¥ 99 (US$ 14) in China. It will go on sale from June 15 in a single
white color option.
