OPPO Reno 9A


The OPPO Reno 9A was spotted in leaked images and specifications earlier today. Now the device has been launched in Japan. It is the latest addition in the Reno 9 series. The device packs mid-range specifications and features. 

The OPPO Reno 9A comes with a 6.74-inch AMOLED display with a punch-hole cutout at the top left corner. It features an FHD+ resolution and a 90Hz refresh rate. The device has a IPX8 rating and it is equipped with an in-screen fingerprint scanner. The back panel of the phone has a rectangular camera module.  On the optics front, the OPPO Reno 9A features triple rear cameras. The setup comprises a 48MP main sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 2MP macro unit. There is a 16MP selfie snapper.

Under the hood, the OPPO Reno 9A is equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 processor. It packs 8GB RAM and 128GB onboard storage expandable via microSD card slot. The device draws its power from a 4,500mAh battery unit with support for 18W fast charging. Software-wise, it runs on ColorOS 13-based Android 13.  Connectivity options on the OPPO Reno 9A include 5G, WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS, 3.5mm jack, and a USB-C port.

The OPPO Reno 9A is priced at Yen 40,656. It is offered in Night Black and Moon White colors. The smartphone is up for pre-orders with sales commencing on June 22nd in Japan. OPPO has not revealed the global availability of the Reno 9A.
