The OPPO Reno 9A was spotted in leaked images and specifications earlier today. Now the device has been launched in Japan. It is the latest addition in the Reno 9 series. The device packs mid-range specifications and features.
The OPPO Reno 9A comes with a 6.74-inch
AMOLED display with a punch-hole cutout at the top left corner. It features an
FHD+ resolution and a 90Hz refresh rate. The device has a IPX8 rating and it is
equipped with an in-screen fingerprint scanner. The back panel of the phone has
a rectangular camera module. On the
optics front, the OPPO Reno 9A features triple rear cameras. The setup
comprises a 48MP main sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 2MP macro
unit. There is a 16MP selfie snapper.
Under the hood, the OPPO Reno 9A is
equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 processor. It packs 8GB RAM and 128GB
onboard storage expandable via microSD card slot. The device draws its power
from a 4,500mAh battery unit with support for 18W fast charging. Software-wise,
it runs on ColorOS 13-based Android 13.
Connectivity options on the OPPO Reno 9A include 5G, WiFi, Bluetooth,
GPS, 3.5mm jack, and a USB-C port.
The OPPO Reno 9A is priced at Yen 40,656.
It is offered in Night Black and Moon White colors. The smartphone is up for
pre-orders with sales commencing on June 22nd in Japan. OPPO has not revealed
the global availability of the Reno 9A.
