After renders, pricing for the Nothing Phone (2) in Europe has surfaced. According to French site Dealabs, the phone will come in 256GB and 512GB models, and the models are expected is come with 8GB and 12GB RAM, respectively.
According to the leak, the Nothing Phone
(2) is said to be priced at 729 Euros
(USD 800) for the 256GB version and the 512GB version is rumoured to cost 849 Euros
(USD 932). To remind you, the Phone (1) was launched at 469 Euros (USD 932) for
the 8GB + 128GB model and 549 Euros (USD 603) for the 12GB + 256 GB model.
These models were launched in India for
Rs. 32,999 and Rs. 38,999, respectively. Even though this shows that there will
be increase in price compared to the Phone (1), it should be cheaper in India
compared to Europe, but how cheap is the question.
The company’s founder Carl Pei has reacted
with an angry emoji for the price leak, which could could be taken as a joke. A
few weeks back, he tweeted ‘Fake’ after the render leak. We will have to wait
for the launch next month to find out the exact pricing for all the markets.
