Lenovo has unveiled the ThinkStation PX flagship workstations in China. The Lenovo ThinkStation PX comes with two-way Xeon scalable processors and up to RTX 6000 flagship graphic card. There are there models in the Lenovo ThinkStation PX lineup. The new generation ThinkStation PX is coming three months after the release of the ThinkStation P5 and P7 workstations.
The Lenovo ThinkStation PX drew some
design principles from the Aston Martin luxury car. Aston Martin is a
high-performance sports car manufacturer and the workstation is reportedly
inspired by the DBS luxury sports car. The workstation has adopted some of the
aerodynamics that are found in the DBS. The ThinkStation PX adopts a 3D air
intake grille on the front. This combines with Lenovo’s three-channel cooling
system for maximal airflow. The workstation also has an innovative modular
design while the front-mounted storage can be upgraded anytime.
The Lenovo ThinkStation PX has a
dual-socket Xeon processor with up to 120 CPU cores. It also comes with
improved performance by up to 53% from previous iterations of the model. It
supports up to four dual-slot NVIDIA RTX 6000 Ada architecture graphics. The
workstation enables users to seamlessly handle complex workflows including
creative post-production and CAE simulation activities.
The new ThinkStation PX has a capacity of
up to 4TB of DDR5 memory. It also provides ultra-high bandwidth through the
PCIe Gen 5 high-speed connection. The Lenovo ThinkStation PX series has the top
model priced at 348,799 yuan (US$ 48,944). It can be purchased directly from
