Asus Vivobook Pro 16 laptops offer immersive OLED displays with up to 3.5K resolution. Today, the company unveiled a cheaper version in the series featuring a 2.5K display, a Core-i9 processor, and a built-in Nvidia RTX 4060 graphics card. This model maintains the same design as most other notebooks in the lineup but comes at a slightly lower cost.
The Asus Vivobook Pro 16 laptop comes
equipped with a 2.5K display that supports 120Hz refresh rate, 100% P3 and 133%
sRGB color gamut, and 500nits brightness. The new machine also features VESA
HDR 400 certification, Dolby Vision, and Windows HDR support. It is powered by
the Intel i9-13900H processor with 14 cores and 20 threads, clocked at 5.4GHz.
There’s also a built-in Nvidia RTX 4060 graphics card with 8GB of GDDR6 RAM.
In addition, the notebook adopts a cooling
solution with dual fans and dual heat pipes, and the body is equipped with 3
air outlets. Talking about the ports, the new Vivobook Pro 16 gets a USB-A
interface on both, a 3.5mm headphone jack, an SD card interface, a USB-C port,
HDMI, and an Ethernet port. It comes with a built-in 70Wh battery that can
charge up to 50% in half an hour. There’s also a full-size keyboard with a
backlight and fingerprint scanner. The laptop makes use of a 1080P camera and a
privacy shutter.
The new Asus Vivobook Pro 16 is listed on
Chinese e-commerce platforms with a price of 9,499 Yuan, that’s about US$ 1329. We
are not sure if the machine will be made available for customers outside China.
