Acer Predator Triton 16


At the ongoing 2023 COMPUTEX TAIPEI event, PC giant Acer released an array of new devices including the Predator Triton 16 gaming laptop. The new Acer Predator Triton 16 is boasting an ultra-thin chassis at 19.9 mm (0.78 inches), a metal casing topped off with a sparkling silver finish, and a large 16-inch LCD (IPS) panel with 16-inch WQXGA 2560 x 1600 resolution, 240Hz refresh rate, and thin bezels.

Its display also offers DCI-P3 100 percent color gamut and support for NVIDIA Advanced Optimus and NVIDIA G-SYNC to provide smooth and vibrant images. Inside, the device is powered with 13th Gen Intel chips up to Core i9 with support of the new hybrid core architecture with a 5.4GHz max turbo frequency. It is paired with NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 up to 4090 laptop GPU with NVIDIA DLSS 3 and its bundle of Max-Q technology features for optimized ray tracing and performance.

It also has up to 32GB DDR5 5200 MHz RAM, up to 2TB PCIe M.2 SSD RAID 0 storage, and 99.98WHr battery capacity. To keep its performance in check, it has Dual 5th Gen AeroBlade 3D fans, Vortex Flow technology, and liquid metal grease for enhanced cooling.

The device also has per-key RGB lighting, a fingerprint reader with Windows Hello, WiFi 6E (E2600+1675i) Intel Killer DoubleShot Pro, 2x USB 3.2 Gen 2, 1x USB-C Thunderbolt 4, HDMI 2.1, and a microSD card. It runs with Windows 11 OS out of the box.
