Another smartphone is added to Xiaomi's Redmi Note 12 long list of variants. The next edition will be the 12R Pro variant highlighting an OLED panel with a size of 6.67 inches and comes with Full HD+ resolution and 120Hz refresh rate.
Inside, it features the 6nm Snapdragon 4
Gen 1 octa-core chip with Adreno 619 GPU. Redmi paired it with a hefty 12GB
LPDDR4X RAM and 256GB UFS 2.2 storage. Powering the unit is the 5,000mAh
battery and charges using USB-C and 33W power brick. For cameras, the phone
uses 48MP for the main, accompanied by a 2MP macro and an LED flash. While at
the front, it uses a 16MP snapper.
Other features mentioned are the
side-mounted fingerprint reader, IP53 dust and water resistance, and 3.5mm
audio jack. Connectivity-wise, it has 5G, 4G, WiFi (2.4GHz/5GHz), Bluetooth,
GPS, NFC, and dual SIM support. For OS, the phone runs Android 13 with MIUI 14
skin out of the box.
