Lenovo Yoga Slim 7 Carbon


Lenovo's Yoga Slim 7 Carbon 13 8th generation is coming soon in the Philippines. To start, Lenovo takes pride that this machine is crafted from high-strength carbon fiber. They also mentioned second-gen propriety fiber making it light and 25 percent more rigid. The palm rest and bottom covers on the other hand are made from magnesium alloy material which both are reinforced with structural ribs for extra portability and durability.

It features a 13.3-inch PureSight IPS screen with 90Hz adaptive refresh rate, QHD 2560 x 1600 resolution, 100 percent sRGB color gamut, Delta Ε<1 hardware calibrated, Dolby Video, TUV Rheinland EyeSafe and Low Blue Light certification, and optional touch screen feature. Inside, it is powered by the 10nm up to 5GHz Intel 13th Core i7-1360P with 12 cores and 16 threads and Intel Iris Xe GPU. That chip is paired with 16GB LPDDR5 dual channel RAM and up to 1TB M.2 PCIe SSD.

For battery, it has 50WHr claimed to last up to 14.5 hours of local video playback while it charges using the 45W power supply. Other features mentioned are the 2x 2W Harman Kardon speakers with Dolby Atmos support, 2x digital mics, and an HD 720P IR camera with a privacy shutter.

For ports, it has 1x USB-C with support for Thunderbolt 4, DP 1.4, PD, and 40Gbps data transfer. There's also another USB-C with similar features but lacks the Thunderbolt 4. Meanwhile, it has WiFi 6E and Bluetooth 5.1 for wireless connectivity. For OS, the laptop runs Windows 11 Home out of the box.
