Huawei introduced the Watch 4 and Watch 4 Pro with eSIM support on May 9 during the global unveiling of the P60 Pro flagship and the Mate X3 foldable. Company officials did not reveal any details about the availability of the wearables then, but now we have the official information. Huawei will begin the pre-order for Watch 4 and Watch 4 Pro on June 8 and will start selling the wearables two weeks later, on June 22.
The Watch 4 and Watch 4 Pro come with
impressive battery life and faster charging times. According to official
information, the Pro can live 21 days on a single charge with an ultra-long
battery life mode that still allows you to track health data and record
activities.
Huawei introduced a more interactive UX
with the wearables, a more prominent Huawei Assistant, and a Quick Bar for easy
access to the most used apps. Petal Maps was specially redeveloped for the
Watch 4 devices to act as a standalone gadget, provided the local carrier
supports the wearable as an eSIM device. Other new features include a Health
Check, Respiratory Check, and the ability to share health data with a close
circle of family members.
The Huawei Watch 4 is priced at € 450/£ 400
with its Black Stainless Steel body and fluoroelastomer strap. The Watch 4 Pro
with a Leather strap and Titanium Alloy body is € 550/£ 500, while the
all-Titanium option is € 700/£ 600. The wearables will be sold on Huawei’s online
store and partner retailers across Europe.
