The entry-level vivo Y02A made its debut today. The phone comes with was announced with a simplistic design anda big 5,000mAh battery. The front of the vivo Y02A is taken by a 6.51” LCD with 720p resolution and a waterdrop notch for the 5MP selfie camera. There is one camera on the back - an 8 MP shooter on a circular island, alongside an LED flash.
The vivo Y02A is powered by the modest
Helio P35 chipset by Mediatek. RAM is 3GB, and storage is 32GB, although there
is a dedicated microSD slot for expanding that. The OS is Funtouch OS 12, over
the barebones Android 12 Go Edition. Connectivity is limited to LTE and you get
a dual nanoSIM slot with Dual Standby; the phone supports Wi-Fi on 2.4GHz and
5GHz frequencies and comes with Bluetooth 5.0. Charging is limited to 10W, but
the USB cable is provided in the box.
The Y02A is essentially the global variant
of the vivo Y11 (2023), announced last week. The vivo Y02A is first available
in Bangladesh and costs BDT 12,499, which is just south of US$ 120/€ 110. Color
options are Cosmic Gray and Orchid Blue, and both are already up for sale on
the company website.
