Two models of Sony's lightweight headphones officially arrives in the Philippine market. Starting with the WH-CH720N model, it uses the over-ear design that provides passive noise isolation. The device has a plastic body, soft memory foam on the neck and earcups, and is light in weight with 192 grams on the scale.
Sony says it comes with Dual Noise Sensor
technology for ANC and the V1 Chip which is similarly found on the WH-1000XM5
flagship headphones. Sony continued that the chip helps to produce clear
details with minimal distortion. While the sound signature is on the balanced
side with natural and clear vocals. The audio gear has Ambient Sound mode with
20 levels and Focus on Voice mode if you want to chat without removing them.
It has a Beamforming microphone with
Precise Voice Pickup technology and Wind Noise Reduction Structure for clearer
calls or music play. Moreover, the headphone provides up to 35 hours of music
playback as per the brand's claims.
Moving forward the WH-CH520 is the more
affordable version and this time it uses the on-ear design. This provides
all-day comfort with its ergonomic form, adjustable headband, soft earcups, and
lightweight body at 147 grams. Sony mentioned that it can provide up to 50 hours
of use and even has a quick charging feature that can give 90 minutes of
playback for a 3-minute charge.
Both models offer Digital Sound
Enhancement Engine (DSEE) which Sony boasts produces "high-quality sound
precisely as the artist intended". They also feature multipoint
connections so users can seamlessly switch between different devices. Both
headphones can connect with the Sony app. This has an equalizer where you can
