Realme Narzo N55

Realme introduced the Realme C55 last month with Dynamic Island-like Mini Capsule, and as promised, the company today unveiled the Realme Narzo N55, which is the second Realme smartphone to come with the Mini Capsule feature. The Mini Capsule on the Realme Narzo N55 expectedly works the same way as it does on the C55. It can show the battery status, data usage, and step count. However, the last two functionalities won't be available out of the box (like the C55) and will arrive later through an OTA.

The Realme Narzo N55 boots Android 13-based Realme UI 4.0 and has the Helio G88 SoC at the helm with up to 6GB RAM and 128GB storage. It also has a dedicated microSD card slot for storage expansion by up to 1TB. The Narzo N55 is built around a 6.72" FullHD+ 90Hz LCD with a punch hole in the center for the 8MP selfie camera. Around the back, it has two big circles for the 64MP primary camera and a 2MP monochrome unit.

The rest of the Realme Narzo N55's highlights include a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, UltraBoom Speaker with Dirac's audio tuning, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. It also features a USB-C port and packs a 5,000 mAh battery advertised to charge from flat to 50% in 29 minutes with the bundled 33W SuperVOOC power adapter.

If all this sounds familiar, it's because the Realme Narzo N55 is a rebranded Realme C55 with one less memory configuration. However, this isn't the first time Realme launched a Narzo series smartphone as a rebadged version of a non-Narzo series smartphone.

In 2021, Realme launched the Narzo 30 5G as a version of the Realme 8 5G. And the rationale behind launching the same phone under the Narzo branding this time is also the same: sales through different channels. The Realme C55 is sold through Flipkart in India, while the Narzo N55 will be available through Amazon.in. Of course, you'll also be able to purchase it through Realme's official Indian website.

The Realme Narzo N55 comes in Prime Blue and Prime Black colors and has two memory options - 4GB/64GB and 6GB/128GB, priced at INR 10,999 (US$ 135/€ 120) and INR 12,999 (US$ 160/€ 145), respectively (C55's 6GB/128GB version is INR 1,000/US$ 12/€ 11 cheaper).
