OPPO A1 5G


OPPO A1, the latest addition to the company’s lineup of smartphones in the A-series, is now available for pre-order in its home country China, starting today. The smartphone is being offered in three color options — Sandstone Black, Haohai Blue, and Cabernet Orange. Among these three options, the Orange-colored model comes in a leather finish.

The OPPO A1 comes packed with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage for the price of 1,999 yuan, which is about $290. While the phone is now up for pre-order in China, it will be available from 14th April.

Coming to the specifications, the smartphone features a 6.72-inch Full HD+ LTPS LCD panel with a screen resolution of 2400 x 1080 pixels and a 120Hz refresh rate. Under the hood, the device is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 processor, coupled with 12GB RAM and 256GB internal storage, along with microSD card support.

In the camera department, there’s a dual-camera setup on the back panel featuring a 50-megapixel primary camera sensor and a 2-megapixel depth sensor, along with an LED flash. On the front side, the device features an 8-megapixel snapper for taking selfies and video calling.

The phone runs Android 13 operating system out-of-the-box with the company’s own ColorOS 13 custom interface, and features a side-mounted fingerprint sensor for added security. It is powered by a 5,000mAh battery which has support for 67W fast charging.
