Huawei Watch Ultimate

Huawei has launched the Watch Ultimate in Europe, adding to the company’s growing lineup of devices available outside of China. Although the Watch Ultimate was introduced in Huawei’s home market almost two weeks ago, the global version of the device slightly differs from the one sold in China.

Unlike the Chinese version, the global variant of the Watch Ultimate does not have the capability to send or receive satellite messages. Other than that, it is essentially the same device as the model launched in China.

Huawei has brought its latest smartwatch, the Watch Ultimate, to Europe. The device boasts premium features such as a sapphire crystal display, a ceramic back, a titanium band, and a zirconium case, which is even more scratch-resistant than glass. The Watch Ultimate is also certified to meet EN 13319 and ISO 22810 standards for waterproofing, making it ideal for divers. Huawei has included several diving apps for convenience.

With a 1.5-inch AMOLED display, the Watch Ultimate offers a resolution of 450 x 450 pixels and a variable refresh rate between 1 and 60 Hz using LTPO backplane technology. It’s a bulky smartwatch, with a 48.5mm case that’s 13mm thick and weighs 76g without the watch band. Huawei offers the smartwatch in two colors, black nitrile and silver titanium.

Huawei claims that the Watch Ultimate’s 530mAh battery will last up to 14 days between charges or up to 8 days with heavy usage. The smartwatch supports Huawei’s exercise and health apps, as well as NFC and ECG technologies. You can purchase the Watch Ultimate in Expedition Black for €749 or Voyage Blue for € 899 in Europe. Moreover, if you place your order before April 23, Huawei will throw in a free pair of FreeBuds Pro 2 earbuds.
