The Huawei Nova 11 Ultra is the flagship model of the new line of mid range smartphones from the company. And according to insider Digital Chat Station, it will be the first of its kind to support satellite communications. This feature will put it on par with the Mate 50 and P60 series, which are currently the only Huawei smartphones with satellite communication support. The insider has confirmed that the Nova 11 Ultra will receive heavy duty Kunlun glass, which is stronger than the Gorilla Glass Victus 2 found on the Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra and other flagship models. It will also feature a variable aperture lens in the main camera unit, allowing for better image quality.
Despite these impressive features, the
Nova 11 Ultra will not have the latest Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 platform as
initially rumored. Instead, it will come with the Snapdragon 778G 4G platform.
However, the rest of the specifications are impressive. The Nova 11 Ultra will
have a 6.78 inch OLED screen. With a resolution of 2652 x 1200 pixels and a
frame rate of 120 Hz. Its front camera will have sensors with a resolution of
60 and 8 megapixels, and it will support 2x zoom. The main camera system will
feature a 50 megapixel sensor with an RYYB layout and a variable aperture lens.
The device will have a 4500 mAh battery with support for 100 watt charging. And
it will be 7.99 mm thick and weigh 188 grams.
Digital Chat Station has a track record of
accurately predicting specifications and release dates for smartphones. The
insider was the first to announce the specifications and release dates of Redmi
K50 and Xiaomi 12. Therefore, it is likely that the information about the
Huawei Nova 11 Ultra is reliable. Overall, the Nova 11 Ultra looks like it will
be a strong contender in the mid range smartphone market. With impressive
features that will put it ahead of many current flagship models.
