The X Pad has a 2K display and is a relatively powerful budget Android tablet. The Aldocube X Pad has been the subject of several official teasers from the company. In comparison with the Chuwi HiPad Plus,
the X Pad comes with a more powerful chipset in the Dimensity 900. The
Dimensity 900 is produced via the 6nm process and it has 2 ARM Cortex-A78 cores
@ 2.4GHz, six Cortex-A55 cores @ 2GHz, and a Mali-G68 MP4 GPU clocked at
900MHz.
Aldocube X Pad has 8GB of RAM and 256GB of
flash storage expandable via the MicroSD card slot. It supports Wi-Fi 6
connectivity, GPS, and Bluetooth 5.2. The tablet will come with Android 13 out
of the package in the international edition. On the other hand, the Chinese
version of the gadget will ship with Android 12. The battery will support 18W
charging although the actual battery capacity is unknown.
The X Pad will retail in China for 1,199
yuan (US$ 174) and it can be purchased directly from Aldocube. There are no
details yet on the availability of the gadget in overseas markets. It is
however expected that the Aldocube X Pad tablet will find its way to the
overseas market with its budget-friendly price.
