Abxylute, a fresh entrant in the gaming handheld industry, has recently released its first gaming console after showcasing it in a preview two months ago. The Abxylute Handheld console is based on Android and has the ability to run game streaming services like NVIDIA GeForce Now, Xbox Cloud Gaming, or Steam Link.
The Abxylute handheld console features a
7-inch IPS display with a 1080p resolution, a 16:9 aspect ratio, and a 60Hz
refresh rate. The display is capable of reaching a peak brightness of up to 450
nits. The gaming handheld also comes with configurable hall effect joysticks
and triggers, as well as a 19Wh (5,200mAh) battery rated to last up to 8 hours
of game streaming. Weighing in at 430g, the Abxylute runs on the MediaTek MT8365
chipset, which provides enough power to run Dreamcast and N64 titles smoothly.
The Abxylute is currently available for
order on Kickstarter in black or white finishes, with 4GB of RAM and 32GB of
storage for US$ 189. Alternatively, customers can opt for the same RAM but with
double the storage for US$ 199. However, the current prices are part of the Early
Bird promotion and will end on Friday. The prices will go up to US$ 209 and US$ 219
respectively after the promotion ends. All SKUs of the Abxylute come with a
screen protector and case and are expected to start shipping in May 2023.
With its competitive pricing and capable
hardware, the Abxylute is poised to make a mark in the gaming handheld market.
The device is expected to provide a viable alternative to the Logitech G Cloud
and other similar devices in the market.
