vivo V27 Pro and V27

These two phones are virtually identical with one major difference - the Mediatek chipset. The Pro is equipped with the Dimensity 8200 - a capable 4 nm platform for borderline premium smartphones with a 3.1 GHz CPU. The vanilla variant is powered by a Dimensity 7200 - also built on the 4 nm process, but the fastest CPU cores are clocked at 2.8 GHz, while the GPU remains Mali-G610. Now that we have the difference out of the way, here are all the specs these two phones share. Vivo has equipped them with a 6.78” AMOLEDs with a 120 Hz refresh rate and Full HD+ resolution.

The camera setup is the proudest feature for both devices. The vivo V27 Pro and vivo V27 have a 50 MP main camera with a custom Sony IMX766V sensor and an f/1.8 aperture and OIS. The second shooter on the back is an 8 MP ultra-wide-angle, and the third is a 2 MP macro cam. There is also a ring LED flash right next to the top lens. The front-facing camera, sitting behind a punch hole, is also impressive - 50 MP with AF. Vivo has tricked out the phones with plenty of software improvements for photo and video, including Real-Time Extreme Night Vision, Super Night Video, and so-called Hybrid Image Stabilization that digitally fixes shakiness in videos.

Speaking about the software, it is Funtouch OS 13, based on Android 13. The phones also support dual-mode 5G both on SA and NSA networks, Bluetooth 5.3, and Wi-Fi 2.4 GHz/5 GHz. The USB-C on the bottom is for the 4,600 mAh battery with 66W fast charging - same on both the vanilla and the Pro. The phones might share the same 182g body, but the Pro is selling only in Magic Blue color, which changes its hue under sunlight (or any other UV light) or regular Noble Black colors, while the vanilla option is also offered in Emerald Green and Flowing Gold.

The vivo V27 Pro has three memory options - 8/128 GB, 8/256 GB, and 12/256 GB, and the starting price is US$ 459, which is subject to change, depending on local market conditions. In India, pre-order prices are as follows: ₹ 38,000 for 8/128GB, ₹ 40,000 for 8/256GB and ₹ 43,000 for 12/256GB (note that this is with a small 6-11% discount). We already reviewed it and established it is an excellent phone with an easily likable design.

The vivo V27 is offered with 8/256 GB or 12/256 GB memory for US$ 399, once again, the price might fluctuate slightly in different countries and regions. The phone will be available in India from March 23 at ₹ 33,000 for the 8/256GB model and ₹ 37,000 for the 12/256GB one.
