The iQOO Z7 we've been hearing about for over a week now will be launched on March 21 in India. This revelation comes from iQOO India's CEO Mr. Nipun Marya, who, in an interview with Gadgets360, also divulged a few specs of the upcoming Z-series smartphone.
Marya said the iQOO Z7 is
"exclusively designed for the Indian market" and will pack an
"ultra-bright AMOLED display" with a fingerprint scanner underneath.
A video teaser recently shared by iQOO revealed the Z7's display will have a
U-shaped notch. However, its diagonal and resolution are yet to be officially
confirmed.
The iQOO Z7 will be powered by the
Dimensity 920 SoC and feature a 64MP primary camera with OIS. The smartphone
will run Funtouch OS 13 out of the box, and fueling the entire package will be
a 5,000 mAh battery with 44W charging, claimed by Marya to go from 1% to 50% in
25 minutes.
The Z7 will be sold through Amazon.in and
will have a base price of under INR 20,000 (US$ 245/€ 230) in India. A teaser video
posted by iQOO on Twitter revealed the iQOO Z7 will come in blue and black
colors, but we don't have any confirmation on its memory options yet.
