The Xiaomi 13 and Xiaomi 13 Pro were launched in China last year, and today at MWC, the company finally brought the flagships to the international scene. At a glamorous event, the two phones with Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipsets and Leica cameras began their global rollout.
The Xiaomi 13 comes with a 6.36” compact
OLED with Full HD+ resolution and up to 1,900 nits advertised maximum
brightness. The camera setup on the back should have processing tuned with the
know-how provided by Leica. We have a 50MP main sensor with OIS, a 3x telephoto
camera with a 10MP sensor and OIS, and a 12MP ultrawide sensor completing the
setup.
Xiaomi 13 Pro carried over the display
from its predecessor - a 6.73” LTPO AMOLED panel with 120Hz adaptive refresh
rate and 1440p resolution. The screen has an ambient color temperature sensor
that adjusts the color temperature according to the environment. The camera
trio on the back got a noticeable upgrade - the 50MP 1”-type sensor Sony IMX989
is paired with OIS, the 50MP telephoto camera has 3x zoom reach, and the 50MP
ultrawide has macro support and brings AF.
The Xiaomi 13 supports 67W wired charging,
while the Pro bumps the rates up to 120W. The duo also supports 50W wireless
and 10W reverse wireless charging. Other common specs include Dolby Atmos-tuned
stereo speakers, IP68 official rating, and Android 13 with MIUI 14 on top.
The Xiaomi 13 will go on sale on March 8
in three colors - Black, White, and Floral Green. Price begins from € 999 for
the 8/256GB version. Xiaomi 13 Pro will also be available from March 8 in
Ceramic Black or Ceramic White with two memory combos - 12/256GB or 12/512GB.
Prices will begin from € 1,299.
