Earlier this month, along with the launch of the OnePlus Ace 2 smartphone, the Chinese company also announced 27W Freezing Point Cooling Back Clip, a smartphone accessory to ensure that the phone’s thermals remain in check. Today, the OnePlus 27W Freezing Point Cooling Back Clip has been launched and is now available for purchase in the Chinese market for the price of 219 yuan, which is about US$ 32.
The product comes with a white-colored
shell, while the fan is red in color and is rated for 1800mm² cooling. It is
claimed to cool the temperature down from 33°C to 17°C. When the product is
connected to the OnePlus Ace 2, it can enable the overclocking mode on the
smartphone.
Based on the details shared by the company
on the product page, the OnePlus 27W Freezing Point Cooling Back Clip is
smaller than the previously released 18W version. The width has been reduced by
9 percent while the weight has been reduced by 14 percent, and it comes
equipped with Hall Dual switches.
It has been revealed that the
heat-dissipating back clip is compatible with SuperVOOC, PD, and QC and uses a
three-position slide switch, and the noise, while it’s in operation, is also
low at 22 dB. It has been designed with an aerospace-grade dual-TEC
overclocking cooling solution, a custom-made “tornado” radiator, and dual
independent control chips.
