OnePlus will debut a new concept device at next week’s MWC Barcelona. We’ve now received our first sneak peek at the OnePlus 11 Concept which shows out the phone’s back is equipped with light-up strips and a larger camera island. The blue strips cover the entire back of the phone and circle the camera island too.
OnePlus issued an official note for its
upcoming concept phone, describing the new images as “blood vessels” that run
throughout the entire back of the phone. The images show the engineering
breakthroughs of the OnePlus 11 Concept by highlighting the icy blue pipelines
which run through the entire back of the phone, almost like OnePlus 11 Concept
has its own series of blood vessels. OnePlus 11 Concept’s pipelines are housed
inside a bold and futuristic unibody glass design inspired by the calm
stillness and vast power of a glacial lake.
It would be interesting to see how the
OnePlus 11 Concept functions and if the light strips work similarly to the
Nothing Phone 1 or if they serve a different purpose like actively cooling the
phone. In addition to the images, OnePlus CEO Pete Lau tweeted a teaser video
for the OnePlus 11 Concept. The brief teaser shows the phone in action for a
brief period. Lau says the phone will debut "an industry-first
technology" but it remains to be seen what that actually entails.
