ThinkPhone

The recently announced ThinkPhone by Motorola is expected to arrive to business clients in the coming months, but now Roland Quandt is reporting that the phone will also be available to regular consumers in some countries. Quandt specifies that the 8/256GB trim will set buyers back € 999 (US$ 1,080) and will be available from the end of this month through electronics retailers though no specific stores or countries were mentioned.

The concept of a ThinkPhone has been rumored for years with fans of the ThinkPad line of laptops waiting patiently to finally see it announced last week. The news that the device would be sold as a B2B exclusive likely came as a disappointment to loyal fans but the new report should get their hopes up. Lenovo/Motorola have yet to confirm these reports so we should wait for their response first.
