OnePlus is working on a new affordable smartphone called Nord CE 3. Live images of the device surfaced earlier this month, revealing a flat LCD with a single punch hole at the front, and a triple camera at the back. The device is already in the hands of someone kind enough to run the AIDA64 app, used for providing information on hardware and software of Android devices, and share screenshots of the intriguing bits.
It looks like the new smartphone will run
on Snapdragon 695 chipset and will have a 108MP main camera. The OnePlus Nord CE 3 is said to bring a 6.7”
LCD with 1080p resolution and up to 120Hz refresh rate. It will also support
HDR10. RAM is listed as 8GB LPDDR4X, while this device likely has 256GB
storage. Android 13 has Oxygen OS on top, so there is no ColorOS for now.
The main camera will have two 2MP shooters
in the lower circle - one used for background blur in portrait photos, the
other for close-up photos. There is no word when to expect the Nord CE 3, but
it should be soon, given how the device is already being benchmarked.
