MSI also released new Creator products with eye-catching internals. The two laptops have mostly similar hardware. They come in a Silvery aluminum body and cover with the MSI logo at the top. The Creator Z17 HX Studio is obviously the bigger among the two with a 17.3-inch QHD+ IPS screen 16:10 aspect ratio, 165Hz refresh rate, DCI-P3 color gamut, and MSI 2 Pen support. The smaller Z16 HX gets a 16-inch panel with 120Hz and offers a similar resolution and other screen details but you can't use the stylus.
Both laptops can use up to 13th Gen Intel
Core i9-13980HX processor and up to NVIDIA RTX 4070 GPU. The RAM can go as high
as 64GB DDR5 while the storage has up to 2TB NVMe SSD The two Creators also get
4 Cell 90WHr battery and charge using the AC adapter with a 280W rating.
Other features mentioned are 1x
fingerprint, 1x Ambient light sensor, 4x 2W speakers, 720p webcam, RGB
keyboard, and a cooling system to control the temperatures. There's a minimal
difference on the port side such as the Z17 has 1x USB-C (data, DP, TB4, and
PD), 1x USB-C (data, DP, TB4), 1x USB-A 3.2 Gen2, 1x SD card reader, and 1x
3.5mm audio jack. The Z16 on the other hand only has 1x USB-C (data, DP, TB4,
and PD), 1x USB-A 3.2 Gen 2, 1x SD card reader, 1x 3.5mm audio jack, and even
1x HMDI support. Wireless connection features will be WiFi 6E and Bluetooth
