vivo sub-brand iQOO will introduce the Neo7 in India on February 16, which will be different from the Neo7 launched in China last October since the Chinese Neo7 is powered by the Dimensity 9000+ SoC while the Indian Neo7 will come with the Dimensity 8200 at the helm. The brand also confirmed that Indian Neo7 will support 120W charging, suggesting it could be a rebranded Neo7 SE unveiled in China last month.
While iQOO hasn't detailed Indian Neo7's
specs sheet yet, it today revealed the smartphone's screen specs, design, and
color options, which pretty much confirms the Neo7 Indian model is actually a
rebadged Neo7 SE. iQOO's Indian branch has confirmed that the Neo7 will pack a
120Hz AMOLED screen measuring 6.78" diagonally and have two color options
shown below. However, we could see the brand offering more colors later as it
did with the Indian Neo6 last year, which was a rebranded Chinese Neo6 SE.
The vivo sub-brand also claimed that
Indian Neo7 scored more than 890k points in AnTuTu tests. Additionally, iQOO
said the Neo7 will come with an ultra-game mode and full coverage 3D Cooling
System, and a screenshot we received shows the Dimensity 8200 in the smartphone
throttled to 88% of its max performance in the CPU Throttling Test app after 15
minutes.
iQOO hasn't revealed the Neo7's Indian
pricing, but the company said it will be sold through Amazon.in and iQOO
e-store in India. You can expect iQOO to confirm more features of the Neo7 as
we inch closer to its February 16 India launch. In the meantime, you can check
the Neo7 SE's detailed specs here to know what to expect from the Indian Neo7.
