The Huawei P50 series was quite a success but only in the Chinese market. Huawei mobile phones are no longer attractive outside China, many thanks to the series of bans by the U.S. However, the company is now set to unveil the successor to the P50 series which is the Huawei P60 series. Over the past few weeks, there have been several speculations regarding the Huawei P60 series. The latest of these is with respect to the camera of this device. Popular Weibo leakster, @DCS reveals the camera specs from the engineering model of this device.
According to his Weibo post, the Huawei
P60 series will come with a Sony IMX888 main camera, an IMX858 ultra-wide-angle
lens, and an OV64B telephoto lens that supports 3.5X optical zoom. According to
previous reports, the Huawei P60 series is likely to be the first model to use
the Sony IMX888 sensor. Also, the P60 series will also support variable
aperture lenses. This tech has been installed on the previous Mate50 series.
Through the ten-speed freely adjustable physical variable aperture, you can
obtain more flexible blur effects. In addition to previous reports, the Huawei
P60 will use the IMX789 sensor main camera, while the Huawei P60 Pro uses the
IMX888 sensor. Both sensors support 1/1.4-inch outsoles.
Reports from the company’s supply chain
claim that it will launch two flagships this year. One is the P60 series, and
the other is the Mate 60 series. The former should launch around March this
year, and the latter around September. The Huawei P60 flagship series should
use the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chip. A leaked image of the protective
case of this device reveals that the rear camera of the device uses a
rectangular module. The very large circular part in the middle should be the
main camera. There are two squares on the top and bottom. It should be the
location of the other two cameras, and the flash is in the upper right corner.
