Oukitel has launched its first 8-inch tablet in the market called the Oukitel RT3. The mini-tablet comes with a rugged chassis and is capable of working in extreme and harsh conditions. Let’s take a look at its details, pricing & availability.

The Oukitel RT3 has an 8-inch, 400-nit, scratch-resistant IPS touchscreen display. The gadget has a rubber casing that provides additional protection. The tablet is waterproof, dustproof, shockproof, drop-resistant, and vibration-resistant thanks to its IP68/IP69K and MIL-STD-810H certifications. The tablet can withstand 1.5-meter drops and is waterproof up to 1.5 meters deep for up to 30 minutes.

The tablet has an octa-core MediaTek Helio P22 processor, 4GB of RAM, and 64GB of internal storage that can be expanded to 1 TB. It features twin rear cameras with a 16MP Sony IMX519 primary sensor and an LED flash, perfect for producing amazing pictures in both bright and low-light situations, and it runs on Android 12 OS. You have an 8MP front camera sensor for taking selfies.

Other interesting features include BeiDou, GPS, GLONASS, and Galileo. Dual speakers, Bluetooth 5.3, 4G/5G Wi-Fi, barcode scanning, OTG, and toolbag compatibility are all included. The device has cellular capability and can use two nano SIM cards or one nano SIM card and one microSD card simultaneously. The Oukitel RT3 weighs 538.1g and has dimensions of 209 x 136.6 x 14 mm.

On AliExpress, Oukitel has set the RT3’s starting price at US$ 499.98; however, a handy launch-window discount of 70% lowers that to a much more alluring US$ 149.99 from now until December 25, 2022.
