iQOO recently released the iQOO Neo 7 series in China. The series which consists of two variants – the iQOO Neo 7 and iQOO Neo 7 SE is also gearing up for the launch of a third smartphone, the iQOO Neo 7 Racing Edition under the same line. However, as the brand prepares for a global launch, news has broken that the iQOO Neo 7 SE will be marketed in India as iQOO Neo7.
The speculation of an Indian launch was
confirmed when the upcoming iQOO smartphone with the model number I2214 was
spotted on the Bluetooth Special Interest Group certification. Prior to this,
the same model was spotted on the Bureau of Indian Standard certification. The
Bluetooth SIG listing revealed iQOO as the name of the upcoming IQOO smartphone
for India.
The Bluetooth SIG listing further reveals
that the smartphone will have PD2238F_EX_A_13.0.61.W30 as its software version
which suggests that the iQOO Neo 7 Indian variant will be a rebranded iQOO Neo
7 SE. The SIG listing also reveals that the Indian variant will have Bluetooth
5.3 support.
With Full HD+ resolution, HDR10+
certification, and a centered punch-hole notch, the iQOO Neo 7 SE’s AMOLED
display runs at 120Hz. The smartphone also features an octa-core MediaTek
Dimensity 8200 processor with a Mali G610 GPU, up to 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM, and up
to 512GB of UFS 3.1 storage. It comes with Android 13 Preinstalled.
The iQOO Neo 7 SE has a 5000mAh battery
and supports 120W rapid charging. With a 64MP primary camera, a 2MP depth
sensor, and a 2MP macro lens, it has a triple-rear camera system. For selfies
and video calls, the smartphone has a 16MP camera. It provides an in-display
fingerprint scanner for security.
