With the Honor Pad V7 Pro having debuted last year, we’re due for a successor. The Chinese OEM recently confirmed the new Honor Pad V8 Pro is in the works and will debut in December. While we wait for a launch date, the tablet has visited China’s 3C certification site, which reveals 33W charging support and hints at an imminent launch.

ROD-W09 has surfaced on China’s 3C certification site. This device is believed
to be the latest Honor Pad V8 Pro. The listing further suggests that this
tablet will come with 33W fast charging support. Apart from this, there are no
specifics known about the tablet yet.
Honor recently revealed the design of the
upcoming tablet through a teaser video. The new tablet will come with a narrow
frame design with a high screen-to-body ratio. It will have a front-facing
camera in the middle of the side frame. On the back, the device will sport a
cylindrical camera module, featuring a single camera and an LED flash.
The teaser also hints that the Honor Pad
V8 Pro will be available in at least two colors—Blue and Orange. Further, it
will arrive with a stylus and keyboard. Honor has also confirmed that the
tablet runs the latest MagicOS 7.0, which carries significant upgrades and new
features. The software is claimed to enable seamless collaboration across
devices.
The company is yet to disclose the
specifications and pricing of the forthcoming device. Also, the exact launch
