Two new displays from ViewSonic have been introduced. The VA3209-MH and VA3209-2K-MHD are 32-inch monitors with a focus on general usage and media consumption. ViewSonic states that the monitors have 1,200:1 contrast ratios, 250 cd/m2 peak brightness, and Adaptive Sync to reduce image tearing. Despite their titles, ViewSonic has chosen to use IPS panels, not VA ones, in both monitors.
ViewSonic also states that the VA3209-MH
and the VA3209-2K-MHD offer 75 Hz refresh rates, 4 ms reaction times (GtG), 72%
NTSC and 104% sRGB color gamut coverages, and 75 Hz refresh rates. ViewSonic
claims that the VA3209-MH can only create 16.7 million colors and runs at 1080p
with an 8-bit color display. In contrast, the VA3209-2K-MHD combines a 10-bit
color panel (8-bit Plus FRC) with a 2,560 x 1,440-pixel resolution.
Similarly, the VA3209-MH has single HDMI
and VGA ports, compared to the twin HDMI ports and single DisplayPort
connections that the VA3209-2K-MHD provides. Conversely, both monitors have 2.5
W stereo speakers, adjustable stands, and 100 x 100 mm VESA mounts.
The VA3209-MH costs € 199, and the
VA3209-2K-MHD costs € 259 from ViewSonic. To know about the availability of the
