OnePlus is working on new high-end true wireless earbuds. The OnePlus Buds Pro debuted in August of last year, so we'll probably see their successors appear very soon. Today some specs for the upcoming OnePlus Buds Pro 2 have been leaked by a usually reliable source. They are claimed to sport dual audio drivers per bud, one 11mm and one 6mm, in a similar fashion to Oppo's Enco X2. They also support the high-res LHDC 4.0 codec, as well as spatial audio.
The active noise cancellation will
apparently go up to 45 dB and will be adaptive based on current noise levels in
your surroundings. Each earbud gets three mics for enhanced voice quality
during calls. With ANC on, we can allegedly expect the OnePlus Buds Pro 2 to
last up to 6 hours on a charge, and 22 hours with the case. If you turn ANC
off, those numbers shoot up to 9 hours and 38 hours, respectively.
The case will support wireless charging,
while a ten-minute top-up of the buds will net you 3 hours of use. Other
features include support for Google Fast Pair and Bluetooth 5.2. The buds will
be IP55 rated for dust and water resistance. The OnePlus Buds Pro 2 will be
offered in white, black, and green.
