Tech giant HUAWEI today launched its newest tablet targeting consumers in need of a bigger display without breaking the bank—MatePad T 8 LTE. The new tablet looks identical to its 2020 version. It arrived in a Deepsea Blue colored body, 8-inch HD screen with 4.9 mm ultra-slim bezels + 80 percent screen-to-body ratio, TÜV Rheinland Low Blue Light Certification, and eBook mode for comfortable reading. The RAM is now bigger at 3GB (from 2GB). But, the storage is the same at 32GB. The battery is 5,100mAh large. According to HUAWEI, this can last up to 12 hours of local video playback at 1080p.
The company also improved its Kids Corner
by pre-installing four functional modules as Recorder, Camera, Multimedia, and
Kids Painting. It also has flexible
parental controls including eye protection, time management, app management,
and content management features that allow guardians to choose which apps
bypass time restrictions, such as eLearning apps during prep time.
Moreover, it also offers eye protection
features like blue light alerts, posture alerts, and bumpy road alerts. HUAWEI
said that it has different sets of gyroscopes and algorithms are also in place
to help detect whether kids are lying down or even on bumpy roads to ensure
correct posture and promote healthy eyesight all throughout the day. as well. The
exact type of octa-core processor is unspecified this time though.
