Honor X40 GT gets a 6.81-inch FHD+ IPS LCD with a 144Hz refresh rate and 480Hz touch sampling rate. The device also brings an impressive 8-layer graphite cooling pad which can cool the phone’s surface temperature by up to 1 degree Celcius. The phone runs on the slightly old yet still capable Snapdragon 888 platform with 8/12GB RAM and 256GB storage.
The
back houses a 50MP main cam alongside a 2MP macro cam and a 2MP depth of field
module while the selfie cam comes in at 16MP. Honor X40 GT comes equipped with
a 4,800 mAh battery and 66W fast charging. It boots Magic UI 6.1 based on
Android 12.
Honor X40 GT comes in black, silver and
racing black colors with a starting price of CNY 2,099 (US$ 290) for the 8/256GB
trim. The 12/256GB mode is CNY 2,399 (US$ 332) and open sales in China are
scheduled to being on October 18.
