The G502 X, G502 X Lightspeed, and G502 X Plus are the newest versions of the most popular gaming mice. They were just released by Logitech G in INdia, a brand of Logitech, and have a number of ground-breaking improvements for the best gaming experience. By precisely revamping the G502 design and modernizing it with the most cutting-edge gaming technology, such as the addition of LIGHTFORCE hybrid optical-mechanical switches, the G502 X continues the tradition of offering unmatched gaming performance.
All G502 X models use Logitech’s
innovative LIGHTFORCE hybrid optical-mechanical switches for speed,
dependability, and precise actuation. LIGHTFORCE is a novel microswitch
technology that combines optical and mechanical switches. Optical switches are
fast, reliable, and durable. LIGHTFORCE uses galvanic contact pieces that work
like mechanical switches to retain crispness. Optical and mechanical triggers
work together to give optimal gaming performance. LIGHTFORCE hybrid switches
combine optical actuation with crisp, tactile mechanical clicks.
The G502 X has a redesigned, removable,
and reversible DPI-shift button and a reworked scroll wheel with more stability
and less weight. It also keeps the G502’s famous infinite scroll and ratchet
modes, USB-C charging for wireless versions, and a thin-wall exoskeleton to
reduce weight and increase rigidity. The G502 X has a high-precision gaming
sensor with 1-1 ratio accuracy at sub-micron levels and no smoothing,
filtering, or acceleration. When paired with LIGHTFORCE, response times are 68%
faster than the previous generation.
The LIGHTSPEED wireless protocol update
lets gamers connect two devices to one receiver by utilizing G HUB’s Device Pairing
Tool. Players can use the same receiver as their Logitech G915, G915 TKL, or
G715 keyboards. The G502 X is compatible with Logitech G POWERPLAY wireless
charging mats for extended battery life. The G502 X PLUS has LIGHTSYNC RGB with
flowing 8-LED illumination that adapts as the player plays, startup and
power-down effects, and active play detection to optimize battery life. All
three devices supports Windows 10 or later; macOS 10.14 or later
