The iQOO 10 Pro arrived in late July with a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset, and the vivo brand is already working on the successor. According to the leakster Digital Chat Station, the iQOO 11 Pro will have the SM8550 platform by Qualcomm - the upcoming Snapdragon 8 Gen 2. The San Diego company is planning to introduce its flagship SoC in mid-November, meaning there are about 3 months before the iQOO 11 series are official.
The source also claimed the new iQOO phone
will have a new E6 AMOLED by Samsung with a single punch hole. The letter E
stands for “energy efficiency” and while the panel manages to keep its
brightness levels, power usage goes down, providing even more battery life.
The panel on the iQOO 11 Pro is said to
have a “2K resolution”, which is how Chinese people wrongly refer to the QHD
(1440p) resolution. It will also bring a 120Hz refresh rate and up to 1440Hz
PWM dimming to avoid any flicker.
