Anker has launched a new magnetic battery for the US and Europe markets. The Anker 622 Magnetic Battery is basically a MagGo with PopSocket for attaching it to surfaces. It could be recalled that the company recently launched the MagGo (Anker 621 magnetic battery) in August. The new device can output 7.5W charging for iPhone 12 and iPhone 13 models. The Anker 622 Magnetic Battery is portable, weighing just 127g, and is the culmination of Anker’s partnership with PopSockets.
The new Anker-PopSockets wireless charger
has a collapsible grip that can be used as a stand to watch videos or make
video calls. The power bank can be recharged via its USB-C port and it has a
5,000mAh Lithium polymer battery. The battery offers up to 17 hours of charging
for compatible iPhone 12 and 13 devices. The MultiProtect technology protects
your device from overheating while being charged.
A 2ft USB-C cable is an accessory that
accompanies the Anker 622 Magnetic Battery. Anker is silent on how long it
takes to fully charge the power bank. Three color options are available for the
device namely black, white, and blue. The Anker 622 Magnetic Battery features
Anker’s MiniCell technology, making it very compact.
The Anker 622 Magnetic Battery is
available in the US from Amazon at a retail price of US$ 69.99. In the UK, the
wireless power bank could be purchased through Amazon for £ 59.99. Finally, the
product retails in the rest of Europe for €69.99 from Amazon. There are no
details at this time on the global availability outside Europe and the US.
