More details about the upcoming Xiaomi Pad 6 series have surfaced. It is rumored that the lineup will include a tablet powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset. The specified model will have a 14-inch screen and is rumored to have similar specs to the Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra. Xiaomi Mi Pad 5 with Snapdragon 860 launched in Japan for ¥ 43,780 (US$ 384).
A tipster, Digital Chat Station provided
the new details relating to the Xiaomi Pad 6 series. The lineup is expected to
be released this year but there are no specifics yet. It is noted that the
Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 was alluded to by the tipster. The latest premium chipset in
the Snapdragon lineup is the 8+ Gen 1. The tipster says that the most expensive
model in the lineup will also be the largest, which is the 14-inch model. It
will however come with a competitive price as an affordable alternative to the
S8 Ultra.
The MediaTek Dimensity 8100 could also
power one of the tablets in the Pad 6 series, according to the tipster. The
Xiaomi Pad 6 flagship will have a battery capacity of up to 9,000mAh but is
reportedly yet to be registered. It should be noted that these rumored specs
for the Xiaomi iPad 6 series are yet speculative. Xiaomi is yet to provide
definitive details of its upcoming tablet lineup for this year. The release
